I posted previously how my car doesn’t start at times cuz I don’t have a kill switch for the led lights I got installed. But then I changed the batter and it was working fine until this weekend when I tried turning it on and it didn’t. I took the battery back to get tested and it was good with 100% charge and I tried to put it back in one more time and the car will not start. Only the light on dash will turn on. Any ideas?!

I agree... take out the LED Lights since all your issues started after their install and remove the Kill Switch and return the wiring to original.

But moreover, there is a lot to unpack in your unclear comments. Does it turn over/crank strong and won't fire and run????? Saying it won't start is very vague.

Where was the Kill Switch installed and what is it killing??

What light on the Dash turns on???

When you say the Battery, are you talking about the main battery in the trunk? What brand?

Do you have a separate volt meter? If so, what is the battery voltage with the ignition off??

I don’t have a kill switch installed. The car itself doesn’t turn on it’s not cranking over. Sometimes the dash say Chrysler. I can unlock and lock the car, I can see all the lights start up as if it was gonna fully start on. And yes the batter in the trunk. Brand is Duralast gold I believe

Suggest checking all fuses in both front & rear fuse boxes next...

Man, I think some of the fuel pumps on the '22 models were faulty. I know because I had a line on a brand new '22 JB whose original owner pulled-out of the deal after the thing arrived after ordering it over the winter, and the thing wouldn't start intermittently. They currently are awaiting a brand new fuel pump to arrive from Dodge.

They said there's some kind of new design at the top of the pump that fixed some issue that was identified...take that for what it's worth, but that came from the service center that diagnosed it and ordered the new FP. I wonder if it's an issue with a certain subset of these newly-manufactured cars in 2022? (mine included...although I haven't yet picked up mine). For SURE they said they noticed it wouldn't start intermittently as soon as it was unloaded from the auto-transport when it arrived at the dealership.

Sounds like a similar issue?

I would recheck your battery. I also recommend a battery tender like ctek that will keep your battery fully charged and let you know what condition it is in

If you end up getting a new battery maintainer , I would also suggest getting a CTEK battery maintainer, they have many models, I bought the CTEK 5.0 with the optional rubber holder, you can get them for a 100 bucks or less, go on line and read about them yourself, my 2021 redeye / nb battery kept getting low after a few days so I just leave this tender plugged in all the time. I always know when the battery is low cause the after chiller won't come on. I only got 475 miles on it as of today.

Either the battery is good or it isn't. To prove the battery is good turn the headlights on high beam, with the button in accessory turn the heater fan on full blast. If the headlights are bright and unaffected by the heater fan the battery is good, and the "household" fuse box is well connected to the battery. If the starter will not crank the engine at all then the wiring to it is at fault ( probably the low current side ), or the starter itself is at fault. Even a half-discharged battery will engage the starter in most cases.

where did you install these LEDs? Have you tried pushing the start button directly with the remote/ Key Fob?
originally i got the lights installed by this guy in new york "calcustoms" you will find him on ig. He ordered the lights from lighting trendz. After he installed them everything was running fine until the lights started flickering. So i didnt want to take it to him again cuz he was far anf i didnt fuly trust him. so then i took it to legend spa (north jersey) and they re-installed new lights because i was able to get new light from lighting trendz.. but then issues with the car dying started happening after the second time the lights were installed. I decided to get the battery checked and it was time for a new one so i thought the issue was the battery but now with a brand new battery the car wont start. the dash lights come on, the radio comes on, etc but the car itself i cant get it to start. I took the battery to make sure it was a good battery and that it fully charged and it was. Not sure what is causing the car not to start but its not the battery and i doubt that the lights are causing the car not to start. maybe the computer got ****** up from all the uninstalling/installing the battery and maybe needs to get reprogrammed? im so frustrated. I havent done anything else to the car and i refuse to until i figure this out first. its been a year just about now trying to solve the issue with my lights.

All - i wanted to give you all an update..
Thankfully the alternator and starter are okay. It looks like the people that installed the lights didnt do that well of a job (see attached image of email from dealership).
But i want to thank each and everyone of you that took their time out to guide me or to give their opinion and/or advice.
