Im curious to see what she runs at the track saturday? Any takers?
Should run in the 9s with traction on E85 around 140mph depending on DA.

Lol. Guessing 9’s is a safe bet rofl

My guess - first time out, your best pass will be 9.71

Anyone know much hp you need to find to go from a 9.90 to a 9.0 in a 4800 pound car?

@Demid22 That's right you have everything to be into the 9's.

How much Track experience do you? because tuning has come along way and you could possibly go into the Lower 9s

Depending on air and traction he should see mid 9s without to much sweat. Even the potential for low 9s.
I’ve been known to get cars to leave hard. But we will see how the prep is. 1.3 60s are possible with his setup.

Jon is a very good Tuner.

It's good that you have been to the track already.

Launching takes finesse, but you have a lot of good parts installed to help with strength!

I think a few times more at the track for you to get use the the new set up and you will be flying dow the track!

Launching only requires the right converter in a adequately set up car
I'll agree to disagree, especially when there is added HP to a Hellcat. Getting off the line with out blowing off the tires takes some practice. (Not always )
Having a converter certainly will help the 60 ft along with a Trans built for the track. But not needed for a Hellcat to be at a 9.71 ;)

Be sure to post results. Looks like a great set up. If you can hook up, mid 9's are definitely doable

Im in northeast Tennessee. Usually its Bristol. But theyre close for the season so my only options right now are newport, which is a 1/8mile test and tune track until next season

Bristol Dragway is where the Eplings Garage Family does most of their T&T with their Famous 007 Challenger Hellcat which holds the National Hellcat Record 6.96 Leon Epling/Jason Epling
Leon and his family are friends of mine and as with most any Hellcat owner you will find Great people who are usually willing to help with their knowledge at the track!

1/8 mile for T&T is all you will need to Learn and practice Launching, getting the best 60', best reaction time, those are really good starter goals!

I hope the weather holds out for you and let us know how you do.
Post up any questions too.

Good Luck!

Eplings Cat. Met him and his people at a local car show. Good people.
Leon had sent me a link to his son's Jason's FB Post about taking and driving 007 to the local car show with a 6 second tune and riding off into the sunset.
As a Family they do most of the installing of parts.

In the beginning Leon was with us in the High Horse Performance Pit and Jason had a Hellcat Charger. My husband would have many talks at the track with Leon about his 6 speed Hellcat. Leon eventually replaced his Trans with a Liberty race Trans.
I often wonder what my husband and his Hellcat Challenger would be doing if here was alive and racing. John loved the friendly competition but loved even more the fact that it was helping to bring more parts and Tuning for Hellcats.
Prior to Hellcats it was a very different race time. The Nag1 Trans were nothing but Race and break ( ask me how I know ;) Trans Tuning only came about after the Hellcats.
A race Trans by Rossler Trans was the answer my husband had for that!

Trans Tuning and the stronger aftermarket parts for the A8's, just help so much.
It is really amazing how much everything has come along with Tuning and Go Fassst parts!
