Oh God,
I just checked cars.com and found my car listed by the dealer!!! Needless to say, it gives me anxiety as I ordered and deposited on MSRP. Do you think they're just listing it to generate leads? Help! Shared experience anyone??

Don't worry about it. Mine was the same way. A lot dealerships have an outside person list cars on their behalf. Call the dealership to confirm it.

I am concerned about my dealer telling me (I have it documented in an email) the car is being sold to me at MSRP and when I get there to pick it up they decide to throw on ADM. Has anyone heard of this happening? Any lawyers on site and how would you handle it if it happened to you?

yeah - your fine. dealers do this to get people to call in. then they say sorry the last caller bought it but we have a nice 392 on site!

Thanks folks!
I actually made up a new email and pretended to be interested in buying. The sales guy told me it was sold.
Mission accomplished!
Same thing happened to me! I went to dealer and freaked and made them give me full purchase order since the car was on its way. I understand your anxiety. ;) No worries, it is some sort of auto fill program.

I heard it could happen. Dealership still owns the rights to the vehicle until you sign the paperwork.

Absolutely....I saw so many charger and challenger HC last month I couldn't believe it since you have a shortage all over the web. Lately though they took down the ad's for the HC but still some have them with premium pricing. Good luck.

This is a possibility, depending on how shady the dealer is. On my Challenger I had it in writing that there would be no markup and didn't have it in writing on the Charger, but no markup and having already bought 2 2010 SRT8s from that dealer in the past, I felt it unnecessary.

Same here, my factory ordered HC Charger was listed for sale with my VIN # on the Dodge site. I also called and they said it happens that way -not to worry. So I indeed did get my red Hellcat and the window sticker had my name on it saying "Built for Paul G"
