Decided to create a new thread to document my SuperStock from the time I placed the order and on.

Ordered 3/21
Delivered 10/12

Picked up 10/13 with 7 miles and trailered home.

10/14 - Installed Demon hood, Air Grabber air filter and drove for the first time (4 heat cycles of 16+ miles each) putting 75 miles on it for a total of 83.

Trailered to the track 10/15 - made 3 passes total and the car had 87 miles on it when I loaded it back on the trailer.

Ran the tow pig for good measure.... 😎

Replaced front tires with 295/45ZR18 NT555G2's and removed the banana. I don't name my cars but decided to name this one Big Daddy Yum Yum. 😎

Hey Boosted when you installed the Race brace was the right side active exhaust damper operator in the way preventing the removal of that bolt? I don't imagine you replaced those 2-bolts did you? That smoke was pretty thick...hope you get some rain to put the fire(s) out.

Yeah, I reused the original bolts. I did have to drop the exhaust hangers and allow the exhaust to hang down so I could get the bolt out and back in. We are getting rain right now.... looks like 10 days straight. It's both good and bad. Good for getting the fires extinguished but bad because now I can't drive the SuperStock.... lol

Are you comfortable riding with the 295/45 in the front and 305/40 in the back?
I had that setup last month but it was weird and odd because the front was taller than the back.

I only put 140 miles on it with this combo and it doesn't seem weird at all, at least not yet. The tire is only .5" taller and I can't "see" a difference looking at the car from the side. It does steer smoother and I think that's because they don't scrub like the DR's did. I'll throw the 315/40ZR18 G2's on whenever they show up.

Heat cycling the gears in the rear diff is the most important (to me) part of break in.

Awesome collection! Funny story. About 6 months ago, I bought a set of wheels and tires anticipating driving in the rain and about a month ago, I felt I wouldn’t be getting my Super Stock this year so I sold them to a forum member. Of course 2 weeks later, I get a call from the dealer telling me my car arrived…. lol

That's because I am not satisfied with what it ran as I know there is still a lot left in it. 10.64 @ 128mph was the best out of 3 passes.

edit I forgot to mention that I did not use the chiller as I totally forgot about having it. Anyone know what the expected gains would have been had I used it? Warm 80+ degree day.
