I have about a .5-.75 inch gap between the top of my tires and the fender. Im curious if any other narrow body guys are running a small spacer (8mm or so) on the factory hellcats to clean up this gap a bit. Tires are 285/35r20 and camber is about -3 degrees all the way around. Thoughts?

Are you lowered?
What was the reason you chose those tires?
Is your rear settings for alignment purpose designed or no?
Are you aware the tires are 0.8 inch shorter than the OEM size of 275/40-20?

A 305/35-20 is a half inch taller than your selected tire and 0.8 inch wider overall

If you lowered for a purpose and depending on your driving style a 3 or 5 mm spacer can be of use to close the gap some however much thicker and you are recommended based on a number of resources to get longer wheel studs in order to retain suitable torque/bite on the lugnuts to the wheel studs

3-5mm spacers should work out well to square up the wheels to the body. Just make sure you get hub centric spacers. I'm curious to know who makes a good wheel spacer for the Challengers. maybe Turner?

I would put a 305 tire on it and add the speedlogix spacers.

I went a different route. I did the AAD suspension and fixed the negative camber. Mine was almost -3 to stock.

IMHO that's stupid they designed our cars with so much negative. They aren't corner carvers, they are straight line beast which needs zero to slightly positive camber for best grip. At negative .5 now I'm super happy and it fills the fender great.

The PK Auto guys came through some years ago and gave us a really solid wheel. See below. Wheel on the right is stock OEM, middle PK Auto, left Factory Reproductions. The numbers. Some angles to give you an idea.

Why would you want a 20x11 wheel for a standard body? Just to add depth?
From what I see in the pic, you could never lower that car and drive it without rubbing paint.

I you want from a dig traction or even anything under 40 mph depending on your whp level you need to get those back tires flat with the road, -3 SUCKS! OP needs 0 to +.5 which is going to push the top of those tires out 1/2” or so. -3 must look like a rice burner from the rear??? My .02

Lowered an inch, 11”x20” wheels (+22 offset), Bwoody kit to fix camber and 305/35 Conti. Extreme Contact Sports. No rubbing issues.

But you don't need a 11" wide wheel to run a 305 tire.... so is this just for looks or what? That was my question. I do not think the OP wanted to buy $2,500 wheels, he wants spacers.

So basically to answer the original question, the 100% safe way to do this is;
-Install longer wheel studs, rear or front/rear
-buy hub centric spacers to your desired size
OR
-buy a set of wheels

I assume that was for me. Why would you put a leveling kit on your challenger? Why would you essentially destroy your car's ability to transfer weight to the rear? Why would you stance your car in such a way that it painfully undeniably so unique...just like everyone else's? I wanted as much as I could fit back there. I also shared photos of the suspension travel with something like 635lbs in the trunk. When the tires get shredded by bodywork something far more catastrophic is afoot and I likely won't be breathing long enough for me to complain about it. Finally, I love these cars, almost half of the "community" as a whole are decent human beings and most of that half has congregated here. But I can't and shan't continue to charade of calling the fender flares a widebody. They are a parts bin afterthought and by definition not, in fact, fender flares a widebody do not make. I'll accept the Challenger Demon in all her glory. Aside from that, $6k will get you a lot of fender flares elsewhere. $250 for the set I just found.

Just asking a question brother, not talking bad about your ride.
Lowering springs are not a leveling kit and they still squat just like stock springs. Weight transfer is not going to matter at all with an all season street tire.
All I asked if it was just for looks is because you chose a 305 tire with an 11 inch wheel.
I do agree with a "widebody" is only a fender flare add on lol.... This does include the demon in my book unfortunately. I just think dodge should have done something with actual metal, they had to make different fenders and 1/4s anyways with the WB ones..... It sold vehicles like crazy, so I guess they did it right in their book.
