You should be able to get the Uconnect updates from their website for free. Map updates are usually a charge item. They have the instructions to update on the Uconnect site as well. It has been a little while since I have been to their site.

Yes, free and easy! I actually did my update in the dealer's lot in case I messed it up, but no problem at all.

I was getting emails from Dodge about a month ago for map updates for 99.00 special price. Never followed up on it though.
