I know there are 9,000 threads on this - I've read a ton of them.

Ordering Factory Repo 20x11 with 315/35/20 tires for the rear. Retaining the front stock size.

I'm sure a ton of you have done this already ....

1. Does anyone have any photos, I want to make sure the tire doesn't stick out too far on the fender
2. Is there any rubbing or fender rolling or any modifications needed to the wheel well.
3. Can I use the factory lugs?

Thank you.

Dunno who’s tire you are considering but if you are concerned about it sticking out why are you going w a 11 inch wheel ?

If you are worried about rubbing why a 315 ?

As soon as they're available or I can find, Nitto 555's. Traction of course, I want to make sure it doesn't look too off with the narrowbody at 11 in/315s.

Yes, they rub by a few mm. Do the inner fender line mod to get all the clearance you need. Takes 5 minutes and simple tools. No need to pound on the sheetmetal embossed ribs.

No fender rubbing. Hard to see how far it sticks out with Lil Devils flares, but it's very little poke without the flares. Factory lugs work fine. Mine haven't come off yet!

Most likely it will rub. The wheels you mentioned aren't agressive enough to accomodate the tire size without modding the linear.

Would you mind elaborating? I thought the consensus (at least what I read) was that the 315/35/20 was the ideal size for the 20x11 Factory Repos?

A 315 shouldn’t be on a 11.5” wheel period. No need to have a big sidewall number when you can’t get all the rubber to the ground. Stick to a 305.
Btw, I do wheels and fitments for mkiv supras for the past 10 years as the go to guy on fitments. I run a 11” wide wheel on my Hellcat with a 305 tire. My wheel is flush with the fender unlike the wheel you’re looking at.

Huh? What's wrong with putting 315s on 11.5" wheels? Wheel size range for 315 is 10.5-12.5". 11.5" is smack in the middle of that range. I've run both 305 and 315 on my 11s with no issues getting all the rubber to the ground.

I am pretty sure he meant that you want the rim to be at least as wide as the tread

11.5 Mickey (315) hooks better on 12” rim than it does on a 11

Bulgy????

Frame it - tub it

It was easier to understand back when the slicks advertised dimension was tread width and height

Who gives a shit about cross section of a tire?Gonna vary depending on wheel width anyways. Frame it tub it

Cross section guy prolly same guy that invented offset? The one who decided to measure offset in metric increments when all other wheel dimensions are in inches?

My old pictures Nitto 315/35 on 11” wide wheels with a little too close 25mm wheel setback. We were pioneers back then. You want a few more millimeters towards the outside or these did rub the inside liner. You won’t need to roll anything. But the liner will suffer. This was the beginning of a long journey with a 2015. I finally sold it with more narrow tires for a Widebody.
