After a wash today, I saw this with the headlights on. Both sides have it and it’s inside the lense. The outside is perfect. Do I ignore it or attempt to have the dealer ham fist in two new headlights and likely leave the dealer with more damage than I started with??

Here’s a question. Should I even care about this? It’s only visible when the light is on and you’re looking at it. When the DRL is on or it’s off the lense looks crystal clear. I really don’t want some dealer lube tech turned mechanic trying to tear off my front bumper let alone changing the oil. So I might just ignore it. Leave it for the next guy and just drive/enjoy it. But man it’s frustrating to see.

Where do you live? I’ve seen where frost can form inside the lens and when it melts, it leaves an outline. My truck had this on one of the headlights.
Florida. But I think I know what happened. I drove it straight home from Kentucky where I bought it and it rained 10 out of the 12 hours. I’m sure moisture got in there and the HID headlights baked it in the inside of the lenses. Sucks.

Mine is a 2016 and it's clearer than that. That should answer your question.

I just really dont want to temp fate by asking the dealer to change these out, and im not going to spend a thousand dollars out of my own pocket to get new ones and do it myself. This feels like a lose-lose situation no matter how I slice it. I can already see the front wheels marred up from them taking them off, or all the new plastic marring on all the plastic pieces under the hood from prying all the pop rivets off or dare i say paint damage to my literally brand new bumper from them pulling it off and dragging it across the shop floor. Forget about them trying to align the new headlights or moving it around the lot and not bumping into another customer's car. This is all stuff that is well in the realm of possibility from a normal dealer service visit. And add on the top of all that this is a big ******* orange hellcat that is going to draw everyone's attention no matter where it sits...

Can you tell I've been through this before?
