New 2023 NBJB 717HP Challenger being sold as having 807HP

Not with this vin number does it have 807 HP
2C3CDZC9XPH512357

Either the vin is wrong or the car has 717HP.

I did send a message to the seller to correct his ad.

He did the same on this car he also listed

They're probably just copy pasting from some other document they have. But yes, it's a Hellcat. That being said, the widebody brass monkey wheels look a lot different than the standard body wheels.

What digit in the VIN tells if the car is a 807HP?

My REWB order has 2C3CDZL99PHXXXXXX vs the above 2C3CDZC9XPH512357

The 7th digit. “C” is for 717HP. “L” is for 807HP. “H” is for Demon.

I wonder if there will be a special digit for the DEMON 170.......

DO you know the letter for 797hp that the NBREJB has?

L is 797 or 807hp.

There will not, it will be an L just like other 797/807 cars.

And should say this is Challenger only, Charger i believe is an L for all.

You are probably asking as I just bought one. It’s also “L”. So “L” is 797 or 807 HP

Got it. Seems like that letter than signifies the actual engine, not the HP level.........

797hp and 807hp and OG Demon all have the SAME motor but different tunes, however they all have the L designator.

There is, it's: $

The 7th digit is a body or trim code and that's how they have it broken down. And Demon has a different code, an (H).

The engine is the 8th digit and is a (9) and just means 6.2L Supercharged Engine which obviously they all have.

I sent them a nice, polite message identifying the typographical error in their two listings. Lets see what they say back to me...
I did the same but literally 9 hours later the ads remain erroneously at 807 HP. Wonder if someone buys the car thinking it’s 807 HP, wonder if the dealer lets them know what they really bought? They are priced as if they are 807HP cars.

I have a NBREJB & I have an L in my vin
Maybe the seller applied some black ghost stickers. Thats good for 90, isn't it?

Strange how seller has known about his mistake for 24 hours and still has not corrected his ad. At least 2 of us has informed him of his mistake. What happens if someone buys it based upon his description of having 807HP and then realizes months later they bought a car with 717HP? I’m guessing he’s asking $20k over MSRP (he’s asking 807HP money) but I have not seen the MSRP so I’m guessing.
