hi all... would anyone here use a Odyssey battery in a hellcat?...I have one in a classic car & its great....wondering with all the electronics if it would be as good as oem...I have a 16 & 18, I guess its time to replace? any opinions? thanks

Yes that’s an excellent battery far superior to factory, as long as it fits properly has the same terminals and meets or exceeds the manufactures CCA (cold cranking amps) and AH output.

i believe it said 800 cca...will double check measurements too.....almost 6 years....no problems...i guess better safe than sorry....

It isn't a dry cell, and the yellow top Optima does have vents. I have seen them bubbling when running my stereo on the battery alone for an hour or so.

i changed my mind.....ordered an Odyssey battery... 94R850....works great in my classic. .Had one in my 09 srt8 years ago.....figured i would try it out in the cat....

Exact same battery with which I weighted down my trunk area. Cramming that beast into the stock mounts was as fun as watching a female friend get into a size zero pair of pants. (She shopped in girls' stores.)
