I’m requesting they leave the stickers on my new cat. Do you guys have them detail your car? I want to see how dirty it comes and the amount of salt. Also want to make sure they don’t leave swirls when washing. Opinions please
On my TRX, I asked them to detail the exterior but to not "unwrap" the interior as I had read about how cool it was to remove all the plastic covers and such. What a mistake! Big pain in the ass and I literally enjoyed 2 seconds of it and wish I didn't request it....lol

My SS will be fully unwrapped and detailed by the dealership when it shows up.

I've asked them not to touch a thing, and the dealer has agreed to it.

Including, but not limited to, that they gave me a credit card and I went to a gas station and filled it up. That dealer knows that the first thing I do when getting home is check all the fluids and things in general.

And the vehicle will get somewhat dirty on the way home anyway (open trailer, usually) so there's really no need for them to wash it.

I’m going to try and finagle that gas card move . Nice!

I am all for doing it on my own. Recommend a thorough walk around with the dealer to ensure theee is no hidden surprises. Best wishes.

I asked my dealer not to touch it and they honored my request. Even had it stored inside in an area separated from the rest of the dealership. All the little vendor labels where still in place on the carpets and protective wrap everywhere. It was a bit dirty but I didn't mind doing my own cleanup and didn't have any swirls from them cleaning it the wrong way.

Only problem is depending on how dirty it is when it comes in, you might not be able see any defects or damage. Then of course they'll blame anything found later on you, that's what dealers do!

Assuming the Super Stocks are still delivered to the dealer via enclosed transport, the car will be dirty but shouldn't be nearly that bad!
