Is the black roof a Dodge option or was it painted by the dealership ?

Yes, it is a factory option. ($1500 according to the window sticker)

Interesting I wonder who paints it cause they leave the plant body colour. When you get the car can you check and look for any paint lines at the front and back glass area as the roof would have been painted with the glass in the car. Just curious on the quality of the job

Prefix is in Michigan. So if it's Windsor , I would think its Ground Effects. They opened a new location in Bolton ONTARIO to do the shakers. Windsor facility did the shakers in 2014 guess they are painting roofs there now
