i completely get why you want to do this, peace of mind if nothing else. But, is this something we really need to be worried about if the only adds you do are different size street tires? If it that much on the harry edge, should Dodge be replacing them?

Something tells me that your warranty jest did a 10:80 down the track with out your car

I don't think so,, dodge put it out there it will run 10.8 with DRs, and we have seen people trying it, and breaking a drive shaft,,I think it's fine, but if he breaks a axle, he may have to buy it

Fireball, Did the driveshaft guy give any indication about why Dodge used a two piece driveshaft and not a single? Can't imagine Dodge would spend more money on the two piece setup if there wasn't some Engineering reason for it.

As someone posted above once you strengthen the driveshaft to handle the better traction using larger wheels/tires or drag radials then you will begin testing strength of the half shafts and then the next weakest link.
