I'm pretty sure that I'm in the Minority here, but I like that car. I think that Dodge not at least making a performance Hybrid might be a mistake though instead of just jumping with both feet into the deep end of the electric market.
I think that to offer some type of "Specialty" performance car that ran on fuel is a mistake. For instance, GM is going electric and they made the New Z06, but is will also be offering the E-Ray (which is going to be one Absolutely Incredible performing machine from what I've read).
Dodge should make a Special version of the Viper with an aluminum V8 and either a set of hair dryers (turbo's) or a Big blower (I'm thinking 3l Whipple would work). I think that it would provide some competition with GM (although I still think that the GM might outperform it since it's a mid engine car and they've done their homework on the C8).
This would kind of be FCA's way of not leaving the ICE peeps out to dry. I do like the Hurricane I6 though and its performance potential. I'ts not a fire breathing Hemi but you play the cards that you're dealt!
Just my .02 and you get what you pay for!
