Just purchased a 2020 Charger Hellcat widebody in FrostBite Blue. This is my first dodge and my first muscle car. All i can say is, this car is wicked and demands respect on the road. I bought it for a weekend warrior but driving it is very addictive so its pretty much a daily now. I plan on doing some mods in the near future. Definitely needs better tires.

Yeah, the stock tires are mostly rim protectors until you can get actually useful tires. Still, 700+ HP will make short work of whatever is back there so make friends with a tire dealer stat!

Yes sir, its JBs old widebody. He seemed to have taken good care of it. I love the way it looks lowered but the ride is weird. Wish i could have experienced one without being lowered. Do you like the Indigo blue or Frostbite?

Yes sir, its JBs old widebody. He seemed to have taken good care of it. I love the way it looks lowered but the ride is weird. Wish i could have experienced one without being lowered. Do you like the Indigo blue or Frostbite?

Well, I'm glad it landed at a good home and a member of the forum! I spec my Charger out after seeing how good JBs came together. I would like to lower mine but It already scrapes in certain driveways so I'm good as lowered would be 10X worse, but the lowered stance is killer! Indigo is nice but never considered it, Beside the best color Frostbite, LOL. I also like the Triple Nickle with a blacked out hood and roof. I'm glad I chose this color it pops!
My suggested mod list would be to tint the side markers and black lug nuts!

Hopefully you are getting used to the power. I've had some high HP cars, nothing in the 700+ HP range though, and I have to say that the power a HC has is both addictive and dangerous if you don't respect it. I've run a suped-up Mustang as a younger man and my previous car was a 2016 R/T Road and Trac. I have to say they prepared me somewhat for the power, but even now I've had to "feel" my way through a launch or hard hit on the gas to feel the rear starting to break loose. Unfortunately for me I didn't get on the forums and FB groups before I made the mistake of putting stock rubber on the car after I bought it. I got it "used". It's a 2018 and only had 8700 miles on it. The tires were at about 6/32, but I went ahead and put new tires on it. In hindsight, I now wish I knew about the crappy tires the stock ones are. My next batch will be either 305 or 315's on 20x11 inch wheels.

Hope you enjoy the HC. Were in SC are you located?? I'm up here around Clemson. I think I've got the only HC within 20 miles, with the exception of a Trackhawk that's rumored to be in the area. I haven't seen it yet. Some SRT's and such with a whole bunch of Scat Paks and Mustangs.

Thanks, I've noticed a few charger redeyes getting the same spec. I guess JB started a trend lol. Do you have a regular Hellcat or redeye? Im starting to have redeye fever. After finding out how much different the two are for not much more money. Tate Chrysler gave me a great deal since i cashed out. 2 dayd later i seen a redeye for like 5k more smh. I love how it looks lowered but its to soft and has this bounce that i hate. What do you think about painted side markers?

I wouldn't sweat 90 more HP for an extra 5k. Unless you plan to track. I have the Redeye but would of been happy with the reg widebody hellcat if orders were available last Oct and saved 8k, but I didn't want to wait as Power Dollars were drying up. I think panted side markers would block too much light. One of thr guys at Modfx has an indigo charger with painted side markers I'm just not a fan. Check mine out below and pardon the dirt. LoL

Thanks Wardnuke, so far ive only did a few 60 rolls. Everythings been really good since i have a respect for the power. Earlier today i was turning off my road and the ass kicked out a little bit. It Scared the hell out of my wife lol. That was really the first time it did something i didnt ask it to do. I also plan on going with some better rear wheels and tires so i can swap back to stock for cruising the city. Im located up by Rockhill close to Charlotte but im in Columbia a lot. Is there any good shops with a dyno up your way?

Yes, there is a Gold rush color for 2021 in the Charger, its real along with the security update, just search the forum. Since you already have the LED side markers (diode dynamics) you can either paint or the cheaper option would be to get tint overlays, I have the same ones only tinted. Also the orange calipers were factory options from Dodge, and it appears to be discontinued. Unfortunate for anyone that wanting factory orange calipers. I'm a bit happy although a lil selfish that no one can factory order a Frostbite Blue/ Orange caliper combo!

Yes, there is a Gold rush color for 2021 in the Charger, its real along with the security update, just search the forum. I just seen a few photos of the gold rush. To flashy for me but would look nice with red interior, red calipers with black stripes. I just ordered the side marker tint overlays. I thought the clear markers JB added looked a little to import tuner for the car. Cant wait to see them smoked out. Definitely lucky us if the orange calipers are discontinued lol

I think there's one in Greenville, but the best one I've heard about in my area is Kennesaw, Ga. In your case, I'd look Steve White Dodge up around Gaston, NC. They do mods and at one time I was looking at a $11K package for my R/T Road and Track that would have added 150+ RHP to make it the perfect sleeper. I came across a great deal for my current HC so I traded. Kind of wish I'd kept the R/T so I could really built a nice sleeper out of it. With the HC I have had a bunch of folks back off once they see the HC badge and realize they don't stand a chance. Mostly Scats and Mustangs. The funniest one was a high school kid in a R/T that had the Scat hood, but nothing else. I rolled up on him thinking he was in a 392, but when I got up next to him he only had the HEMI badge on the side. He was acting all cocky when I was coming up along side him, but when he saw the HC badge he literally dropped a F-bomb and back off. As I passed him by, I could see his girlfriend (maybe) start laughing her ass off. Good times.
