Had a 1973 Challenger with a 318 painted Plum crazy in 1989.
Acquired a 1970 440+6, Lemon Twist, Super Track Pak, 4-Speed, Plymouth Roadrunner with the air grabber and dust trails in 1992. Kept for 30+ years.
Got a 1969 Slant 6 Dodge Dart Swinger (with working a/c) in 1996 (that I still have and dropping a 440 in it).
Sold the Roadrunner (enjoyed it long enough) and got a 2018 Camaro ZL1 convertible. Incredible car.
Just yesterday I traded in the ZL1 for a 2021 Dodge Challenger Hellcat Redeye Widebody (Sinnamon Stick) with the carbon fiber stripes, factory hood pins and Warp Speed Wheels.
So a 73' Challenger to a 21' Challenger. Almost a 50 year span.
The Redeye is everything I hoped.
We baked the tires so bad on that first test drive it was ridiculous. So much smoke you couldn't even see behind us.
Car is insane. Just a stupid, drunken, catastrophic amount of power that is totally unjustifiable being on public roads for any rational purpose.
It's perfect.
