Hello brothers and sisters of this forum. I've had my hellcat over a year now. Upgraded from the 6.1 challenger to the current one I have now. Purchased at 10k miles currently at 30k. Now having issues with the code p2172. I ordered a throttle body from American muscle in May(I'm just being patient on that behalf). Just at this moment I replaced 3 of the map sensors. Did not do the last one because its in a obscured spot. My question is... btw catch can was installed at maybe 14k miles. What would cause the map sensor to be covered in oil that goes into the intake ports?

Intake gaskets maybe.
How much oil are you seeing in the passenger side catch can?

Possible. 🤷🏿‍♂️ there is a substantial amount of oil consumption. Which i know that's known for these vehicles. I guess I will start trending the oil.
Thanks for your input!

You can pull the SC off in 20 minutes.
I bet you have a leaking gasket on the passenger side. Put on a set of FI spacers, these replace the factory gaskets. Your catch can, what brand? Does it have a check valve?
And you never answered, is the can getting oil in it or not?

It's a jlt 3.0 catch can and also there's about a tablespoon full of oil every 1000 miles or so. Fi spacers are on the way.
