My first Challenger was a 392 M6. Fantastic car. It only gets better

The Hellcat has enough weight that when you get up to it, you will feel comfortable with the extra power. It isn't like a Group B rally car. If you are so inclined, you can buy parts now and put them on your 392, then swap them over to the Hellcat when you get one, specifically: wheels and tires that are the biggest you can stuff in the fenders. There is no such thing as too much traction.
