My car has shipped and it's estimated right after Thanksgiving. I'm hoping it shows up sooner, only had to go 400 miles. Anyway I know I need to inspect it carefully for damage. I'll be going panel by panel and thoroughly inspect the interior. The wheels and front spoiler too. What else is recommended prior to taking it from the dealer? Should I leave all the shipping materials on?

It gets dealer prep just tell them if you don't want it cleaned up , they get detailed off of shipping all the time

^ this for sure. don’t let them touch it. if it’s being shipped to ceramic shop like mine was, he preferred it left alone and he’d take care of everything, including the splitter shipping protector(yellow banana) plastic on seats, labels, pedals etc. and save all your documentation on your build. cool stuff to have.

Depending on where you live, but you might want to ask them not to install the front license plate bracket

my area requires a front plate, but I didn’t want them drilling into the bumper and installing the chunky holder, so I used a stoNsho instead.

my Dealer also didn’t install the air deflectors or the bright pedals. You might want to have them do that if they didn’t. The air deflectors need a jack to install and the bright pedals can be annoying to install (especially the brake pedal)

I agree with all of the above. I picked up my Jailbreak yesterday. Check Your window sticker. Mine came without the stripe as ordered. Was charged on the window sticker. They presented me with a paper that said We owe you..
I had it deducted from the sale. Pay them for it, when installed.
I was so excited about finally getting the Charger after 4 months in shipping. It took my second viewing of the Hellcat to notice No stripe.
I put 90 miles on it. Taking it easy for the first 500 miles for the break in.
Supercharger sounds great!
Christmas came early.

Agree with everything said above. I’ll repeat about
the front license plate - you can’t tell them enough times “do not drill into my front bumper.”

I’ll add one thing that wasn’t said: Make sure you get all three keys (two red, one black)
