Watch both coolant recovery tanks for coolant loss. Always check cold.Just bought my first hellcat a 2020 wide body with 21k miles in pretty good condition just a bit of curb rash lol any advice on what I should keep an eye out for with my new car?
Thank you so much!Watch both coolant recovery tanks for coolant loss. Always check cold.
Check oil level weekly for oil consumption.
Oil change every 6mo/6K. Pennzoil 0-40W PUP & MOPAR Oil Filters. Keep records.
Check the Air Filter Element and Cabin Air Filter. You can back blow the Air Filter. You can wash and reuse the Cabin Air Filter. If you can see sunlight/trouble light/flashlight thru the filter, they are good.
If you plan on keeping the car, get a Complete (bumper to bumper) Extended Warranty before the end of your 36/36... unless you are rich. A complete motor is $20K+ & a complete trans is $8K+. And then there's all the Electronics. HCs are performance cars and have many more parts that can fail... get an Extended Warranty.
Might consider installing Power Stop Z26 Carbon Ceramic Brake Pads on all 4 corners to eliminate brake dust.
Best!
Might also check to see how much brake pads you have left.Thank you so much!
