Me and a friend went to the track lastnight to race. He ran his 20 widebody Redeye Challenger for the firs time. He is an experienced racer but with a manual SRT 392 Challenger. He did well with the Redeye first time out ran 10.8s and 10.7s had a couple 60's in the 1.5 range. Problem is his car is not shifting fast and hard from 1st to 2nd gear. He said it feels like a slight bog or loss of power between 1st and 2nd definitely can see the front end drop and then pull back up. My Redeye pulls hard and shifts fast and hard through all the gears.
Has anyone experienced this or know what might be happening. Sorry for the long winded post.

In a nutshell the octane is not where it should be for whatever reason? The controller see’s knock and pulls timing, the result is the car falls on its face just the same as if you bounce off the limiter..I’m lucky enough to have GT260 available at the pump..mixing 50/50 (your mixing results may vary) lets you take the throttle the whole way without any hiccups
