my 2021 Ford Mustang Mach 1Welcome, what was our previous vehicle?
I fully intend to have another. I had a 2020 GT500. The car was ordered by someone else and they didn’t take it when it arrived and I bought it. It’s an awesome car but the Recaro seats and I did not get along. So I sold it after 9 months. I’ll add another at some point.
Same here, except I didn't buy it. I'm 6'5" and the Recaros are a deal breaker for me. I tracked one for 90 minutes in 3 sessions prior to finalizing an order and it was too cramped. That, and I always daily my cars, so I couldn't imagine driving this between FL and SC or TN, which I do a few times a year.I fully intend to have another. I had a 2020 GT500. I am a former Mustang owner too. The most recent was a 2020 GT500. I had no issue with the recaro seats at 6'2". My issues were the very poor build quality of the GT500. My DD is a 2020 Charger WB and the GT500 replacement is a 2021 Super Stock. Never going back to Ford again.
Body panel fitment was very poor, stripes had water spots & scratches, hood was chipped, rear black panel was heavily scratched and two very annoying rattles in the interior. What specifically didn’t you like about the build quality ? Just wondering
Yeah that is crazy on a vehicle that is six figures. I’m assuming you brought them all up and was told to pound sand?Body panel fitment was very poor, stripes had water spots & scratches, hood was chipped, rear black panel was heavily scratched and two very annoying rattles in the interior.
Below is one of four really bad body panel fitment issues I had with my GT500

I had no build quality issues with my 2020 GT500. My issue was the Recaro seats were not comfortable for me. I'm sure I'd have still had the GT500 if I had the heated/cooled seats from the start. I sold it and tried to get another but I wasn't going to pay large ADM. I purchased the Mach1with a small ADM but honestly the car was so good at everything I asked it to do that it was boring to drive. It cornered well, great traction, drive great, handled great and rode very well. Power is perfect for the cars handling abilities.I am a former Mustang owner too. The most recent was a 2020 GT500. Ford had no interest in addressing the issue. My 19 GT350 had perfect body panel fitment. To bad it only had 526 HP. The only reason I sold the GT350 was the fact I was used to 700rwhp in my 2007 GT500. It was going to cost $25K for a Whipple and related upgrades. Made the mistake of taking the $25K and buying a new GT500. Should have put the $25K in the GT350 and I would of been very happy.Yeah that is crazy on a vehicle that is six figures. Looked at the Mach1 but could not bring myself to pay more for a 21 Mach1 than my 19 GT350.I had no build quality issues with my 2020 GT500. My issue was the Recaro seats were not comfortable for me. I was just ready for something different, with 4 doors and a V8 and not a pickup. So here I am
