Plum Crazy is hard to find from my experience, I found one while shopping but it was too far away for me to go look at without an airplane ride and I wasn’t willing to invest that much time/money.

I decided if the black becomes too much of a pain to keep clean I could always wrap it or plastidip it a “close enough” color to whatever I wanted.

Just joined the club. Sold my 12 392 AND my 19k mile 1995 Impala for this 16 Hellcat and couldnt be happier. The Cat was a 1 owner car with 4K miles on it.
You just doubled the cool factor of your garage and gained an extra space. Congrats! The only way your garage could possibly be any cooler is if you had an AC/DC banner in the back.

Wait, whaaaaat?

Congrats on the new hellcat!!! Im very impressed a 95 Impala with only 19k miles 😱 I would have bought that I have an infatuation with big 90's early 00's American cars that are clean.
I think that's the lead here! I mean, congrats and all, but you sold a 95 Impala for a hellcat?! But that's just me cuz I love those big bastards

It was a great car....a little regret...

They were good cars, pretty reliable (if you don't count the LT1's OptiSpark crap). Interestingly, it's about the same wheelbase, but a bit lighter than a HC, even though it had a frame. Didn't feel lighter though, and the overall front end structure felt kind of like a noodle compared to HC. They were good cars in their time, but a lot of progress has been made since then. I used to have 2 (two) 9C1 Caprices at the same time: good memories...

Those LT1 Impala’s were amazing car’s. “Dino” in Tampa was daily driving a 9 second Impala back in the early 2000’s. He would take it to races with slicks, his suitcase, a jack, and stands all in the trunk. Congrats on the Cat! I just picked up a M6 15’ in April

had two lt1 vettes and had opti problems on both before they hit 50k. Finding a factory opti is getting tougher. Lots of the aftermarket ones are junk. If you plan on keeping it for the long haul you might want to start trying to score a spare. They arent cheap though. But its alot of work to replace and way to much to put a cheap replacement thats a ticking time bomb. Fortunately, you car is a 95 and Gm did address it with a vaccum vent that helps with the moisture and makes them a bit more reliable then the pre 94 cars. But its still a wart on a good motor.
