New to owning a Charger Hellcat

I just recently purchased a 2015 Charger Hellcat. This will be my first foray in to Supercardom and I'd like some of the more experienced folks to clue me in on things to look out for on the car. I'm looking for reference material where I can start because I'm jumping in on a very established community here. I still have to go over the car and find out what mods the prior owner had done. I take delivery next week and I'm not sure what to expect from it yet; I just know I've wanted one since their inception.

I have already found the car has an issue with the Supercharger Coolant Pump not shutting off and draining the battery. Before I replace the pump should I check the sensor?

First things first. The giant decals need to go. Even if the decal wasnt pure ricer the cat head isnt even at the right angle lol.
I’d say get the cooler working correctly and then start driving it to see what jumps out at you. Then make a list and prioritize. Once you're confident that it drives like it should put some miles on it and get a feel for the car overall as a baseline before making any real changes.

Agreed, I'm not sure when that wrap was put on but, it not my style and yes, it's going. I'm hoping it's not covering up an F-up. I'm thinking about just leaving it unbadged and plain vanilla.

Welcome to the HC.org from Beautiful Bucks County Pa!

Once you discover what Mods you have, I think we can be more helpful to what you need.
You may even want to add to them and take your Hellcat to the Track!

That's if you think you will be going to the track. The 2015's are good for modding there are many parts and a lot of known info for Tuning.

Congrats!
Enjoy All The Fasssst Fun!
Linda :)

Thanks so much! I'm glad I joined. I'm not sure if I'll be on the track yet or not, I kinda doubt it as this is a mid-life crisis car for me :)

There's nothing plain and vanilla about ANY Hellcat! Nice acquisition.

Then that's exactly what you should do. Do what you want and enjoy the thing.

Just curious. What car are you coming from? 700HP can get you into trouble if you aren't careful. If you don't have much experience with high horsepower cars leave the TC on for a little bit to feel it out. Once you get used to it then start messing with all of the custom settings you can change. You will have a great time. It is hard not to smile driving a HC.

Believe it or not, I don't plan on doing anything radical with the car. I have just wanted one since they first came out. Mine will be a garage queen for the remainder of her days seeing the pavement maybe three or four times a year.
