Hello all, long time multiple SRT owner... got my first one in 2005, a new Diamond Black 2006 Magnum SRT. Then it was a low mileage 07 Charger, onto an 09 Jeep. Strayed to a C6 Z06, a 2013 300C, and then a new 16' SRT 392 Charger, an 18 Durango, a 2020 Jeep and a 2021 Jeep, all 392s. I had stayed with NA SRTs due to the amount of mileage I rack up on my cars, I drive about 45-55000kms a year.

Last November I managed to snag a billet silver with gunmetal striped Durango Hellcat and the got the bug bad. I had no intentions of selling it until I accidently found an unadvertised 2022 Redeye Jailbreak Charger in Granite Crystal last week, and made the deal yesterday.

On Thursday I will be picking up the new beast in all of its 807 hp glory and I will post up some pics when I get the chance. I may actually hang onto this beauty as we all know that the era of Internal Combustion is on it way out with a hail Mary of special edition vehicles. Being a working class guy, I can only have one at a time, and wish I could grab a few to hang onto while the silence of EVs make their mark on the car culture. It feels like one by one we are all going to made to wear duct tape over our mouths...
Long live the SRTs, and the whine of a blower! Happy to join this forum as I have lurked here off and on.

Cheers,
Tomi

Awesome. Can’t wait for the pictures.

I have a pitch black JB on order with gun metal stripes. You happen to have pics of your Durango with the gun metal stripes?

Au contraire mon frère! (Figure if we're going EV, then we might as well wear berets)

Stellantis CEO Carlos Tavares recently noted that the company is working on creating artificial sound for Dodge's electric muscle car. Said Tavares, "After they create the sound, they are thinking about how they make the sound louder and more powerful in function of the way you are using the car." Was it somebody else's order and they canceled/didn't want it?

I thought the best part/allure of the JB deal was ordering/configuring whatever YOU wanted?
I was concerned with the wait times and dealership allocation in Canada and had tried for a couple of weeks to get a dealer to work with me. The dealer actually ordered it in their name and therefore it didn't show up on dodge.ca. It was considered a sold unit in Canada and I found it accidently by absent mindedly going to their dealership instead of one down the road to look at a regular Hellcat.
Instead I found this one in the colour and option combination that I wanted to order.
Call it fate or luck, either way I am going to enjoy it.
They also gave me a great trade number on my Durango HC so that cemented the deal.
