Ordered my Hellcat on the first day in Sept. when ordering opened up - still no VIN - From Long Island #waiting

 

don`t feel bad even though guys are receiving their cars I still don`t have a vin and my order was place 09-07-2014

 

My Hellcat came in today! Unfortunately I live near Buffalo so the only ride the Hellcat will see is a flat bed ride to my house. The dealer waived the SRT test drive at my request so it will be in my garage with 2 miles on it until spring.

MMMMMMM! Same color as mine. That is BEAUTIFUL!! So, how many times have you just sat in it and played with everything? My Gosh, I would have trouble not at least trying to drive it around my hood! That is awesome!!! Congrats.

I think your the first to have a auto,, was it one of the later builds.. when did you order it. Mines a torred, auto with ruby seats

I also ordered mine on 9/9 and went to D1 same day as you but mine was built on 10/22 and I'm still waiting for her to be released.......

Long Island . WNY Cat, I didnt know you could waive the SRT test drive. I'm picking mine up Tues or Wed .

 

Yes, my dealer was able to waive the test drive. The SRT tech is supposed to drive it a minimum of 9 miles. As you can see, my avatar is a photo of my odometer at 2 miles. Someday I'm actually going to drive it. Don't know when yet.

 

I would also like to request that the SRT tech doesnt drive it, I'm calling them on Monday.

 

I didn't have any problem with the SRT tech driving my car. I just don't want it driven through salt and slush. I was going to ask the dealer if they want to do the test drive in May. I wouldn't mind going along for the test drive to see what they do.

 

Oh ok, , I thought you just didnt want anyone to drive your beast! LOL

 

I agree with that. No salt and snow for my baby. l had the dealer make some notes on my sales contract when I bought it. No driving and no washing!

 

I picked it up yesterday and the weather in Buffalo was actually good for one day. LOL! I was able to put 40 miles on it before the skies started to cloud up. The car is a beast as all the reviews have stated. Here's a short cell phone video that I took while driving. The video quality is terrible but the sound is great. This what happens when your doing 30MPH and floor an A8 Hellcat! Listen to the RPM's...
