Soon to be a new owner. Allocation arrived at dealer. Getting few things done before its shipped to me. Located in Capital Region, Charlton/Balston Spa. Like a 10 year kid getting his first bike. So excited!!! Look forward to meeting and hanging out with other local owners. View attachment 42994
Looks great! Congratulations!

Frank I've been using Huntington Jeep Dodge. Aaron the service manager is a really nice guy. Very accommodating. Greeted me when I arrived. They have one tech they let work on the Hellcats.

Steven,
Thanks for the info, that dealer is 5 min from my house, gonna give him a call.

From the Mid Hudson Valley, Middletown NY. Recently purchased off the dealer lot a 2016 PCP Hellcat with 6 speed, Laguna and Sunroof. Bought the car down in Northern NJ and traded in my 2015 B5 SRT Challenger with 6 speed. The dealer had a huge markup on the 2016 and it sat in their showroom for a long time...they finally realized it wasn't going to sell so they brought it down to MSRP. They gave me very good money for my trade.

Frank They got a great SRT tech over at Merrick Dodge. He is one of very few that works on the Hellcats.
Thanks but that's where I bought mine, first one on the island, was not impressed with the tech that worked on mine. First oil change he knew nothing about extra drain and then had to replace radiator and scratched my fender .
Do you have a name, the guy that worked on mine was an older man.

Hi Frank, goto True Street Performance in west Babylon. I won't let the dealers touch my car unless it's warranty work. Smithtown dodge told me what ever mechanic is free is the one who works on it. He laughed at me when i asked if there is an SRT Mechanic. True Street performance is one of the leading tuning shops in the country for mopar. I am sure many members will agree with me.

Thanks Jerry, I'm almost ready for my first oil change so I'll be going there to get it done.

How do you account for the dealer being able to download fixes through their computer link? I had a stereo one and a transmission one too.

Frank ask for George. I had a lengthy conversation with him regarding the oil change.

will definitely drain bolt drain plugs. The belly pan underneath has to be dropped to get your access to oil cooler plug.

His name is George. We had a late the conversation regarding oil changes on the hellcats. He was knowledgeable enough to know both drain plugs had to be drained. I purchased two magnetic oil drain plugs to be installed when the time comes.

Hello,
Can anyone from Long Island recommend a dealer with a great service dept. for my HC ?
Hi Frank, I have used garden city and speak with service guy Tom. He understands muscle cars and has been pretty decent to me.
