Hi all, I JUST bought a 2016 hellcat from a Dodge dealer with only 4,500 miles on it. It was making some bearing noise but I didn't think anything of it at the time because this is the first hellcat I've had and I wasn't sure if it was in fact normal. Now that I've had a little time to read through everything and actually went and listened to another car the same year. Any noise at idle is bad news and will escalate later. That being said, the dealer has been really cool, I did not even have to take it back there to diagnose because they are almost 3 hours away from me. I sent them my own video of the noise and they actually got the car covered under warranty even though the warranty expired just about a month ago before I bought the car .(absolutely am buying an extended warranty as soon as this is over. Lol)... I am waiting for the new one to arrive, it has the suffix of AN.. which is the latest version of many. LOL wondering if anyone knows what the difference is with this one? Many of these threads are older and they mention the AG version as being the one that was supposed to be fixed but now as anyone can see from searching some of these threads many many of those have had issues as well.

Damn, 2016 with 4500???? What warranty did it have for that long? I have a 2015 and have wondered about what years were affected.
As time goes on it looks like almost all years are effected. 2016 had a 5 yr. 60k powertrain from in service date...the one in the car I just bought went out June 20, 2021...I thought some of the 2015's had a 100k powertrain but not sure ..

Hi scottydawg04,
Glad to hear you are working with your dealer for this concern. If we can be of any additional assistance as you are working with your dealer, feel free to send us a private message. We'd be more than happy to help.
