It's for cars like McLaren, Porsche Turbo, Tesla Plaid, etc. that can run those times off the showroom floor. Not sure what the year of car has to do with requiring a roll cage or not. So we can take a 2015 Kia Rio and modify it to go 9.0 at 150 mph without a roll cage but can't do the same with a 2010 Dodge Challenger? Doesn't really make sense to me.
I don't think that would be too "smart".Sweet, don't need a roll cage in my Smart car.
The number of airbags and the design for crash safety. The crash safety regs for newer-model cars are far in excess of old cars. Not sure what the year of car has to do ...
Yes, finally technology has caught up with common sense! Now, if they'll only start banning NON-vaccinated people from bars, we'll be all set........... 😁
The differences is NHRA Followed the science. And you won’t follow the science. You need other people to be vaccinated for your vaccination to work. That’s not scienceYes, finally technology has caught up with common sense! Now, if they'll only start banning NON-vaccinated people from bars, we'll be all set........... 😁
I always wanted to make a mailbox out of one of those.
Yep. Except the Tesla Plaid will still need a cage since they can run faster than 150mph and quicker than 9.0. which is kinda bananas. It's for cars like McLaren, Porsche Turbo, Tesla Plaid, etc. that can run those times off the showroom floor.
they are quick but not faster than 9.0Yep. Except the Tesla Plaid will still need a cage since they can run faster than 150mph and quicker than 9.0. which is kinda bananas.
Jay Leno (heavy) even ran faster than 9.4. It doesn’t matter really because he also went over 150mph which still requires a cage.they are quick but not faster than 9.0
9.4tenths matter
