got my 305 nitto's sitting in my garage....looking at the HC tires, back at the nittos.....you guys told me they are 1.25" larger(approx)....when i measure they are 2.5" wider than the 275's

will that change when they mount them...will the edges curve and ill lose 1"??

right now the size difference is really cool

They'll fit fine. You'll still need to lower the pressure and heat them up to really grab but I love them.

Do you have them on the front also? If so was there any rubbing on the front? Another forum member stated he installed the Mickey's and had some initial rubbing in the front until he heated up the plastic moldings.

What do you drop the pressure to when you hit the track? I've never been to the track yet and still need to find a vendor to get these bad boys for my charger. Also can these be used for every day driving?
Thanks!

I experimented a bit with different PSIs but when I dropped them down to 20 psi and practiced launching on a back road in Vegas, they grabbed really well. Check with Johnny Reindeer for track launches, he seems to have that down.

As for a daily driver tire, I don't drive my Cat daily and haven't driven in the rain yet since it rarely rains in Vegas and when it does, I drive my truck. Driving dry, I hardly notice a difference and they handle well and still grab a lot better that the stock tires.

I'm planning on 18 psi at the strip this Saturday.

Strip is opening here this Saturday as well - test 'n tune only. Doesn't matter for me...... I can't race a 218 day old VON.

You'll get a TPMS warning on the dash when you drop tire pressure - so don't be alarmed. Just pump 'em back up before the drive home.
And be sure to take a Snell 2005 or newer and DOT approved helmet. If you don't, you'll be going home disappointed.

Our local strip rents them as well, but frequently runs out of the "popular sizes" early in the day.

I checked with American Tires... they will not put 305 nittos on the stock 9.5 rims rims due to safety issues.. They sell a 10" Bravado rim... you could go 18 in Nitto 305... tire... sane overall diameter as stock... more sidewall, better grip at low psi

Renting a helmet is sort of like renting underwear. No thank you. I'll bring my own ;)
