Are you guys getting deluged with rain today like we are? I'm on the fence over these or the G2s.
G2'S are a waste if money, imo. Only marginally better than the stock tires.

It's not that the Nitto's are so much better, it's the Pirelli's are not good. At least you have a spare set for the front.
The 555R2s are WAY better than anything you can buy for the street. The stock Pirelli's suck too, but it takes nothing away from the Nitto's.

I'm also interested in performance in the rain. I want better dry performance then the stock PZs but my cat is also my DD so it needs to be able to drive in the rain as well.

I had 305-35-20 Nitto 555R2s on the rear of my Cat and have driven them in the rain on multiple occasions as my Cat is my daily and they held up just fine. They are a pretty well rounded tire for handling the wet, giving you good dry traction, as well as lasting several thousand miles.
