Two other VON members were contacted by their Dealers stating that they could go to VIN if they were interested in changing from auto to m6. See RS thread where everyone asks for VIN #'s and status updates.

I'm assuming the majority of those VIN's handed out were the last of the autos they had coming in or in stock.

This dose explain why one guy jumped me in line. I guess that the charger is getting all the autos. Not happy about this.

Geez, I am so sorry to hear this. I feel terrible for all the family here that had been waiting since the order banks opened. I am not sure how I would even feel in that situation. I am really upset for all of you waiting for an A8. Until I hear ResumeSpeed say it, I'm not 100% sold. I am holding a tiny bit of faith that it isn't true.
