Well you should always get your deal in writing and in many states that's a binding contract...not every, but many.one step closer, but dealers can still make customers give up a sale by refusing to sell it at an "agreed" upon price then throwing into stock. Or ordering them under fake/family names
For the fake names...every Sold order would have to have a name on that window sticker, to which I would start searching for that someone should you find one sitting on the showroom that is not sold. Not saying you can't make it up, but there are many online services that can can validate names, addresses, etc. I'm sure this one will be harder to control, but hopefully if this guidance on Sold orders is true, most of the dealerships will do the right thing.
