Funny you folks should mention this! The day that the order banks were authorized by Ma MoPar,,I received a call from my dealer to come down and go thru the order. I asked for all options/upgrades with my order.(Sublime,,8-speed, blacked out hood),,they asked if I wanted the sunroof,,of course I said yes! My dealer coudnt find where the sunroof option was available so we went ahead and placed the order. I would really love the 'roof' but it's not a deal breaker. Maybe I should call the dealer and request it? I was told by the members on this excellent site that I may have to wait because I ordered the interior upgrade? Thanks,,,,,Eddie

Yeah the roof will delay your order much longer

Thanks for the info Hellcatdotclub,,,but I am already 'in' for the interior upgrade. Do you know if I can change my order to include the power sunroof? I appreciate the advice,,my dealer is a great place but they aren't really 'into' performance vehicles,,mostly trucks and SUV's and they appeared confused about the order items. The order did go thru though! In 1970 Dodge offered the N-96 Shaker Hood assembly,,,but the vendor ran out during production,,most waited 6 months to get the Shaker,,most opted for the 'raisin bran' hood,(2 scoops),,those that waited were rewarded with this.(My 1970 R/T 440SixPack) Thank You!!

Well my rep and SRT customer service says typically once an order is submitted it cannot be changed unless there are exceptions made like vendor supply issues. Wow you been around a long time!!! That 1970 RT must be schmooth

Thanks Tammie! OK just got back from the Dodge Store and I asked if it was too late to add the SunRoof option to my HellCat order. They told me the same as what you folks stated! Once the order is submitted it really cant be changed. So it looks like I will be receiving a hardtop. No biggie,,I would LOVE to have the Sunroof but a hardtop is perfectly fine too! I also asked if there will be a 1st shipment build group,,then the next series of builds and so on,,they said yes,,which is why the sunroof wasn't available on the order banks for the 1st group of cars built. Lol love this share. So you are the hellcat solo of the crew huh, I read somewhere on Facebook some viper owners were making troll comments on a hellcat share cuz they are mad how much cheaper the hellcat is and how much more powerful it is. Awesome car btw!

Thanks Hellcatdotclub,,, Yep,,the solo HellCat guy,,LOL,,last year I contemplated buying a new Time Attack, TA Viper. After adding the insurance,,taxes,,maintenance ect I realized I could buy the Viper,,but wouldn't be able to drive it after paying for everything,,LOL,,,IMHO the Viper is a different class of "Car" it's a street legal RoadRace beast,,no compromise track car! The HellCat is America's premier Muscle Car, the Viper is ,totally engineered for road racing. I don't understand the vindictiveness of 1 group to the other?? Oh well,,I appreciate the fact that Chrysler,,Fiat or whatever is building High Horsepower machines in different segments. Heck,, I live in the Heartland,,rural corn country. I have friends with Cummins powered Dodge trucks that run in the 11's in the 1/ mile at 7,500 Lbs. !!! (The blue Dodge CTD is mine, mild,,350 HP 650 Ft. Lbs. the red one is 500 HP and 900 Ft. Lbs and is very fast!) LOL

That is great news Eddie. I wanted a sunroof too. I am gonna add one, not too worried about keeping it stock and it carries the Same warranty as the car!
