Does your car have a open air filter box to where you can see the air filter? If yes, Put your ear on the air filter, is the noise most predominant there? If closed box put your ear next to the driver side head light at the air intake in the hollow head light, hear the noise the loudest there’s or no?

He used a stethoscope, I imagine he would have checked the intake or air box if they ended up doing an AC compressor.
A service departments worst nightmare is a customer with a stethoscope.

definitely not the airbox. It's enclosed. Noise is coming from somewhere in engine or supercharger. I hope the supercharger doesn't have to be replaced.

What I’m getting at is if it’s coming from the super charger you’ll hear the noise in the inlet track. I have a open JLT air box and I can hear the blower through it, snd as the engine heats up snd the throttle blade closes what you hear through the filter lessens as the blade closes then al you hear is the suction of the blower around the just barely open throttle blade as the blower is under vacuum. That’s what I was getting at.

This actually had me puzzled. I played it for two of my employees that own hellcats as well.
None of us have ever heard that noise before.
No CEL or miss so I would role out intake leak, being harmonic I would definitely think it is in the belt or pulleys somewhere.

yes correct car runs great just has the noise. Drives me nuts.
