Well the bug has finally caught up with me. Roll cage is going in in a couple weeks. Rear cradle locks are here. injectors have been purchased, boost a pump( not sure about that one) along with chute has been installed. Tuner will have the car next week and it will be time to go have some fun. I know there will be some breakage but I am willing to accept that to have the car I started out with the goal of being able to drive it every day if I want and change tires and go to the track.
my question is my tuner chose the E 85 route and what has been you guys expierience pros vs cons.
Any comments will be appreciated.

That's a very nice build you have going on there!
I have not used E-85 but @Blkout has and I'm sure he will chime in.

The KB Boost a pump Kenne Bell "Boost-A-Pump" 21V Plug N Play (2015+ Hellcat Challenger & Charger) - KB89079P
Follow the link and scroll down the page for the description. ( Although the one being used could be a different model BAP ) My Hellcat runs 93 for DD and Race gas Q16 for the track

Many Hellcat owners will upgrade from the BAP to the dual pump system, which can be used with E85.

Thank you very much for the kind words. I am 66 years old and going thru mid life crisis late in life lol.
The.build shows the era I grew up in.. I love the old school look. The goal is a 9 sec streetable car.
Anyway I will take all the help I can get.
Thanks and have a great day.

Recommended E85 tuners would be Barth, Dusterhoff, Satera.

Pros: More safety under boost and more power.
Cons: Less gas mileage and harder to find E85 stations.

Thanks sir
I was not leaning to e85 because of availability but I found out here in Vegas there are several places to get it and with almost no humidity it should be easier to find good fuel at the pump.
I will definitely check the quality before I use it.
My mech will definitely use Barth as they have a brutally fast demo and utilize Tim’s tuning.
I’m hoping I can reach my goals consistently without having to build the 514 stroker
I’ve set a goal and will achieve it if my bank account holds out or my wife’s throws me out.
It’s been an interesting journey already. Anyway thanks for the info and I’ll post slips when I’m done

I have a 2015 Hellcat Charger I daily Drive and also take it to the track. I raced My HC Charger 1st into the 9s.

I also grew up in the same "Old School" era.

This year I am going to try to get a new PB. I don't push the limits on my car as I like to be able to DD it too.
My Husband was @Top Cat on here (rip) he was pushing the limits on his car. Back in 2015 he was posting all the news from the track about when we were T&T + R&D of parts of Tuning using Diablo. Great date nights 3 Xs week for months along with [email protected] HighHorseperformance.com Josh continues to take my husband's car to the track for racing in the MSHS race series @Hemirace.com and for T&T and R&D of parts and Tuning.
John was loved R&D and loved pioneering the way for all to go Fasssst.

It’s a wonderful thing to have that special connection with someone you love and be able to enjoy a hobby together. I know you have some special moments and memories. I really thank you for the info and any assistance you and the people might have that will help. my wife really isn’t into speed but I think she will enjoy the track when I buy a nice hauler with comforts so she can se friends and be part of it in her own way.
Thanks again

Thanks Tom,

I think you are right and having a Nice car hauler will make it much more enjoyable for your wife.

Tim Barth is a good friend of mine and is also one of the Top Tuners for our Hellcats.
Tim had our race cars out there in Illinois while we had our Hellcats on the Eastcoast.

He will absolutely have your HC Tuned great for you. The best thing is he has the knowledge and will be able to Tune your car how you want it!

We have a lot in common as I am a baby boomer and have a DD Redeye. Your 9 second goal may not be as far off as you think. I had Dusterhoff do my tuning and I asked for a 10.00 car that I could drive everyday. Bingo: 10.04. Just MS 109 and an engine and tranny tune with wheels and drag radials. May want to check with a tuner to see what is necessary to meet your needs. Just my thoughts. Enjoy your car.

i think your right.I’m going way beyond what I think will be nessacary as I hate disappointments so I’m deep down shoot for 970s or somewhere in there. Tim Barth will supply the tune and my wrench will be doing the rest. I was hoping to not have to change the rear brakes but the 15” wheel and slick combos are just to tempting.
cant wait to et the 5 point strapped in and sail away to bliss lol!
