Does anyone know or had to replace their Oil belly pan U Nuts? There’s only 4. I only removed the belly pan twice and a couple u nuts are already getting cross threaded. I even used a little wd-40 and it didn’t help much. I might as well change the 4 bolts too. I included a Mopar parts link but it doesn’t list the nuts for that pan. It does list the smaller u nuts for the oil cooler cover.
Edit: Amazon sells universal u nuts. I’d replace a couple with those If I have to.

Thanks for looking that up but I think those U clips are for the front oil cooler shield. They’re smaller. I’m not sure though.

And I guess these are the nuts instead of the U clips for that belly pan. Not sure though. Lol…

Edit: I know they both say they’re M6x1.00 but those four front belly bolts and u clip nuts are bigger than the front oil cooler shield. Idk. Lol….

The next time I’m under my car, I’m gonna measure those U Clips. At least we know what size bolt they use lol.
‘Amazon has a lot to choose from.
And ‘They don’t have to be the exact same size but just so they fit.

I am surprised Mopar doesn’t even list those clips on their website. They Do list just about every other U clip though.

No worries! I had the same issue with my 3rd gen ram, although the clip ended up being hidden somewhere within the categories. I added an 05 style 1 piece washer bottle to my 04, and needed the missing U-Nut for the fan shroud. Boy was that a PITA!

Have you looked on Amazon? There’s a lot of those universal sized U clips on there. Different sizes. I just need to measure the ones on my car next time I change my oil.
