What is an oil catch can and do I need one on my '16 Challenger Hellcat? Thanks.

I have one on my car and after like 25+ 1/8 mile runs there's hardly any oil in it at all. Don't know if others have had the same experience.

They are relatively cheap and very easy to install, and I don't see how it would hurt anything. I have the J&L.
