After a week, my new catch can is bone dry. That led to check my oil temp.

It was 204 deg. F after 45 minutes of run time.

We've heard the L shaped rocker covers on Hellcats have reduced the amount of oil catch cans are collecting as compared to 392s so maybe that's what is going on here.

Although it may not matter, please post some oil temps after your Cat is nice and warm. Curious to see what range we will see.

These are the temps I've observed recently in the DC heat:

Highway cruising: 199-210f
Stop and go traffic: 215-235f

Agree with pivotal. Down here is SE VA:

Highway: 205-210
City: 210-218
Hard back country road spirited driving : 240-247 in 95+ degree weather

Highway 199-205 depending on temps outside. Road race track can get to 260 or so, but she keeps on running!

Stop and go traffic with outside temperature of 102 and mine was running about 212. Short trip only about 10 minutes.
