On the way to dealership... another HC in the wild!

Had to take the car to the dealership for service already (800 miles), but saw this black Hellcat on the way there! Met alongside and exchanged the thumbs up...

Regarding the dealership service, I started the car this past Sunday and the "check engine" light came on and popped the P0335 code (and a couple of misc. Dodge codes after hooking it up to a ODB reader). It's staying with them today until the part (camshaft position sensor) gets in tomorrow and is replaced.

Cool trip, let us know if the sensor replaced works
I'm starting to think with all the failures, this car is not ready for prime time.

Hopefully just a few first-year jitters. Car drives just fine, but I wanted the issue resolved sooner than later.

thats way to cool.to see another brother from a different mother
cool story (except the code part of the story) but otherwise, I can't wait to do the cool head nod thing with another hellcat driver one day lol

This is not a lot of failures, you're just hearing about every little thing...given the numbers, miles, and what these are...we're doing well.

Seriously, take everything in the context of the bigger picture. There will be failures, breakdowns, etc...that's why you get a warranty with a car. A sensor failure...you know how many oxygen sensors I used to replace on my Trans Am and IROCs??? Geez those cars would throw codes like lottery numbers.

I hear what your saying but they were cheap cars and neither was a "Halo" car.
I can think of certain high end German and Italian cars that have had issues including cars catching on fire. A sensor or a minor failure here and there is a drop in the bucket in the big picture. As with everything you always hear the problems but people rarely (except on enthusiast forums like here for example) talk about when something works as expected..
It's still a mechanical device with parts and assemblies from several countries...it happens.

There isn't a car made that doesn't have failures...BMW, Mercedes, Land/Range Rover... all of them...look up what has happened with Corvettes.

My Ford Superduty costs more than my Hellcat...it's had a couple of sensors replaced and some gyro device ($800)...still love it.
