I may as well retire and go out on top. Not just some plastic trophy either. A very unique plastic trophy and free Krispy Kreme donuts every month for a year! Life is good!

My wife said I should have at least washed the car prior to the car show. I told her performance cars are meant to be driven and cars for show only are meant to be continually polished. I guess the judge agreed with me.

I thought that they might have dipped a real donut in polyurethane so it would be kept in an air tight environment to be cracked open to enjoy at any time in the future. Woodie Harrelson should have done this with some Twinkies before the zombies took over in Zombieland. It is actually flexible rubber and looks exactly like the real thing. My dog keeps eyeballing it. I may have to take it off the base and have some fun with it leaving it in the box to see who would really be low enough to try to eat my last donut.

I felt kind of bad that there so many cars that were obviously somebody's labor of time, skills and money, and all I did was write a check for the Hellcat. Will, I did install the splash guards myself, but paid some guy to do the xpel. Some of these guys had put 1,000 hours into their car and shed blood on numerous occasions while doing it. It was about as bad as when my wife went upstairs to the kiddy section at the Circus Circus Hotel and beat children out of stuffed animals at games of eye and hand coordination.

But then again, how bad can you feel about free Krispy Kremes?

Here is a picture of the car where I apparently managed to take a picture of my elbow at the same time. That is the a 8 1/2 by 11 version of the Hellcat information poster someone made up and posted on the forum on the windshield. The Krispy Kreme mobile was even there as well.
