I currently have a 2019 charger hellcat but in order to get a new charger redeye i would have to order it, something I've never done. I have gone to dodges website on put together what i want and they show me a price around $85,000. I'm curious what a good out the door price would be. Can dealers markup the price since I'm ordering it? I'm in California.

Check with Koon's near Northern VA and Jake out of Kentucky I think. I think if you do a search in the purchase section of this forum you will find posts from both of them. Search Koon's and Hellcat Jesus. They should be able to get your answers there.

The internet price is MSRP. Check with your local dealer. 4 or 5% off is possible, even from out of town dealers. Hopefully, Power $s will come back as well.

Some dealers may try to add some $ over MSRP because they can due to the market. Whatever offer you go with, get it in writing before you order.

Order from Koons. 5% below invoice. Invoice is less than MSRP to begin with and another 5% off is even better. There’s zero reason to pay MSRP unless you really dont want to hop a $300 flight to drive home from Koons.
Edit: Not sure if they can sell to CA. Long drive too but you can ship it and still be way below MSRP.

I ordered my ‘21 Challenger REWB from Jake at Dan Cummins in March. Was a great experience, and had my brother order his Charger HC from him too. Unfortunately, haven’t been able to get ahold of him for some time to finalize my other orders so I’m going with Craig at Koons (TRX, Charger RE, 392 Wrangler) and their offers are much better so him not answering saved me money 😂🤷🏽‍♂️

I bought mine from Koons and I believe they don't sell to California, but don't hold a gun to my head.

I thought they said there's a work around?

When I inquired in August (I live in California), the answer was a hard no.

I got mine in Long Island at Merrick Dodge. I did not add anything to the base Redeye charger redeye. no NAV, no stripes, no red seatbelts etc. They were the cheapest - I had to wait 3+ months die to chip shortage. The $6000 rebate comes off after they add the tax in. The 78717 included the gas guzzler tax. There was an additional $12.50 NYS tax for tires and a built in $389 fee for "Protection Package" - which has nothing to do with the car. That FEE $389 is hard typed on all bill of sales it seems. I am looking at my bill now giving yo the exact #'s.

Although they don’t sell to CA, do they sell to a CA resident who shows up at their dealership? Technically, they are selling within their state and not CA. Asking for a friend. 😉
I don't think it's where you buy it. It's where it will be registered.
