When I bought my Redeye the dealer promised me a free FOB within 1 year of purchase. After 6 months I took them up on the offer and called Dodge dealer and ordered it. after 1 month I called and they never have my order placed. I reordered it again and they failed again to get me the key. After 4 times ordering the FOB by phone I stopped in personally and ordered it. after 3 Months of waiting, it came it. I went to the dealer to have the FOB synced. It took 1 hour and 45 minutes. And they service tech hands me a brand new black FOB. I was livid. Black? Service tech said did you specify a red fob. I said no I paid $85000 to have my car limited to 500 hp. He got my sarcasm and promised me a red wilol be here shortly. Let’s see how long the wait is.

Superbeegugs My general dealership experience is crazy making.
right now im trying to figure out how to deal with the entire key situation with a used vehicle that only came with one red and one black key. At the time i purchased it i did not know they come with two red keys. The dealership told me there are three keys asigned to the car and no one knows where the second red key is. Now im trying to figure out what the best solution is to the entire situation. Key(s), security updates, RFM lockdown, etc. dealership said they have never dealt with any of this before and that since its a small safe area (?) people would not be concerned about theft. Ummmm…oooooK? 😳🤦‍ I calked another random dealership and they didnt know about any security updates, i had to give them the TSB number and they were like, huh!
Anyhow, i want a second red key period, but i wonder how exactly that will happen. The replies from the GM have been very confusing to decipher.
