So it sounds like I'm not the only person to have their order go from BX to BG. Can anyone give me a good explanation as to why this is happening? My dealer gave me a reason that it was a stock order in BX before my name went on it and now because my name is on it it's not a stock vehicle and that's the code until the allocation comes in. I'm first in line at this dealer for I'm the only HC on order they have. They have received one HC and it was a Challenger. Mine will be their first Charger. Thanks for the help!

If you ordered something on the car that they done have parts for will put you in bg. Like brass monkey wheels. If they don't have them you order goes bg.
Or if you change your order it will take a day to go back to bx.

This.

What your dealer told you is hullabaloo. With the allocation rules changed it would be more inclined to send a STOCK order to BG, rather than a SOLD order. Sold orders that have passed edit should be at BX, good order ready for scheduling.

I did add a sunroof. I'm not believing I'm F#####. I'm number #1 on the list for this dealer. 2 weeks ago I was #11 on another dealer. Either way I'm getting a HC this summer. Positive thoughts you Debbie downers! ; )

It was BX and good for scheduling before I changed the options. And I'm not the only one this has happened to.

They could be short on sunroofs for a bit and need to build something else, this could put you into BG. There really isn't a way to know the exact reason. A zone rep may be able to pass info down to the dealer, but their word is not necessarily the gospel either.

I'm sure that's what did it. The dealer said that once they verify they have all the parts the code will change. They have no reason to lie. They are stealing me from a dealer I have used for over a decade. They want to see this car as bad as I do. And to verify I have a Charger on order.

  • BA: New order that hasn't been checked
  • BB: Review by fleet department
  • BD: Special equipment processing
  • BE: Edit error
  • BG: Passed edit n/a for schedule
  • BGL: Edit ok parts unavailable
  • BX: Passed edit available for schedule
  • C: Sub firm - Tentative schedule

As others have indicated, a part or parts is not currently available for your build.

Back in December (before the allocation rules changed). The chrysler rep told me that BG could be used for part shortage or also for chrysler to control the allocations better. If all orders are BX, they risk having 1 dealer with several cars built (which happened). He explained that by putting orders in BG, they have a better control so that doesn't happen. Given what we know about the new system, it makes sense.

I suggest going to your dealer and asking to see the screen for all hellcat orders. Within dealer connect, you will see all orders and all statuses on 1 screen so it's easy to see. If everybody is BG except one BX, then you have your answer.

Just found out yesterday that mine went BG on my order too. Nothing was changed on it, never had a sunroof option.

My dealer said all the BX orders changed to BG at least at his place. He thought it was due to some sort of allocation change
