FINALLY, after having these bulbs around for about a year, waiting for the chance, I got a chance to have them installed, and boy, are they ever a disappointment. They look like old factory Halogen bulbs. Phenomenally disappointing and bad, but, I looked at the ones that I took out, and they are evidently the stock, factory Harrison HID's that are 35W also, from Japan.

I regret to have to report this, but I hope to save others some money and frustration. I think whoever did the Youtube review failed to test these bulbs beside the other bulbs, as they would have soundly trounced them, with whiter, brighter, light, better-defined beam pattern AND better high beam, by FAR.

Unless the place where I got my Nightbreakers installed replaced them with some other crappy brand, the Nightbreakers suck hard.

I can drive down the road at night with the high beams on, and no one even noticed or flashed their high beams. That is a bad sign. I used to get flashed when I had the LOW beams on.

An lackluster performance, relative to the reviews that showed them beside ANY BULB OTHER THAN THE STOCKERS, and a complete disappointment.

Now, in OTHER cars, they may use crummy stock bulbs, but evidently in the Hellcat, the stock HID's are pretty good.
PS one tip I picked up off of the internet is to aim your right bulb higher than the left for road signs and to avoid glaring out the oncoming traffic with the left.

Possible they got switched out, they are pretty expensive. You'll need to check pn on bulb.

Took off the dimmer one of the two's rear tupperware cover to look at back of bulb. Seems legit.

I also aimed the right light substantially higher and the left one up to its proper height, but, I was expecting a religious experience, angels with sunglasses coming to tan in the glow or something. Instead, I just got lights the same as or worse than stock.

I was wondering that myself. Without dismantling the car, how would I prove that?
Not sure, they do bury access to the bulbs. My 300 is tough, but can be done without removing bumper and light, just have to remove some things behind light.

Yes, that pic up there of the Osram light was from my car, just today.
I chose the dimmer of the two lights, as it was easy to get to. It has some condensation on the light. I am hoping that over time, the lights can cook off the condensation from the housing. It's one thing the shop did wrong. I think they got water in the housings. I KNOW they did. There was condensation on the ring lights, too.

If guess if I ran the lights with the rear pop-off covers removed (covered garage) I could encourage the water to evaporate.

I think the newer HID bulbs are Osrams, my '17 bulbs were not. I will say, I was NOT impressed with them either, especially for the price point. I took some comparison photos but I honestly don't remember which photo is which bulbs (I uploaded these based off of time, I left the Maxbeams I had installed, then installed the stock bulbs, then installed the Osrams). I took it of my $35 Maxbeam 6000ks, stock bulbs, and the Osram Nightbreakers. The pictures literally look exactly the same.

If you have condensation in the light, pull rear caps off, remove bulb, and stick a shop vac hose down in there and let it pull air from in the housing or an hour. Being in a warm garage or blowing warm air at the front of the light will help this to evaporate out.

I have the OSRAM XENARC NIGHT BREAKER LASER bulbs installed in my 2021 Challenger Redeye and in my experience they are much brighter than the OEM HiD bulbs. Certainly, some LEDs can be brighter, but if you want a simple plug-and-play direct replacement for the OEM bulbs there is no better/brighter option on the market.

Incidentally, regarding the comparison pictures above, if the camera’s exposure is not fixed/locked then all the shots will have roughly the same brightness because of auto-exposure.

The pictures might not show it but while they are brighter in person it's not a drastic improvement over stock, this is something other people have experienced as well. I'm not sure if the model on the stock Durango bulbs are different than the Charger/Challengers (I would think they would be the same for ease of use) but I can tell you that my OEM HID bulbs are different than the ones SquirelMaster posted in a different thread and what Himmel posted in here.

There is another large thread on this here. Either way, I wouldn't make the recommendation to swap them out.

Hi Dextar. The video I posted shows a comparison of D3S bulbs and the OSRAM XENARC NIGHT BREAKER LASER are objectively the brightest by a large margin. However, this doesn't mean that they're bright enough for your needs or bright enough over stock to justify the cost; not to mention the differences in the way we all perceive light. I respect that in your, and many others, opinion the bulbs are not worth it, but I have to tell you that when it rains at night neither my wife nor I could see the lines and markings on the road without them. That's just my first hand experience.
