So my 2019 hellcat has quite a few mods and has HP Tuner on it (not tuned by me), but revved the motor up a few times showing off of course and got a check engine with the P012B code. Any ideas on how to diagnose this without taking this back to the performance shop to have them look at it. I have had the car for a year since the work was done and never had any issues, only 16k miles. If I download the HP Tuner software can I clear the code from there and troubleshoot further if the code pops again? Any recommendations? thanks

Solution = dont rev your motor, these motors dont like that...😉

was the car cold? doesn't sound like a big deal. clear the code and it should be fine. if it wasn't cold maybe air in the system?

P012B CODE, car fail

I Just got on the car right before my house, car goes limp throws p0128 code, engine light, with almost no power i pull into my garage, engine temp warning goes off, clear looking liquid leaks all over the place. perfect end to shitty day. car sounded like boiling water or bubble under the hood...

Thanks Jeff, I actually pulled the ground off the battery, and reseated. Cranked the car and the code is gone.

Funny, I will get a p02096 code when I rev the car at least once or twice a year.
I truly believe these tuned cars do not like to be reved either lol.
