You can search the code too and you will see more. I'm sure some members will chime in. Good Luck I hope your Hellcat will be fixed and running great soon.

It’s hard to say exactly when it comes to catalyst efficiency codes 420 and 430, it could be a few simple things causing these code(s) from vacuum leaks to a faulty 02 sensor, below there’s a sort of guide from rock auto to wrap your mind around.. but I will say there has been a few wrong fueling incidents in the past including but not limited to, race gas that was leaded all the way to diesel that was mistakenly put into the car that will fall in the poisoning category

What were you doing before the light?

That indicates your passenger catalyst is not working, IF the sensors are not bad.

Yes, I have got P0420 and P0430 and have blown out a converter every time the lights have come on.

The warning light simply indicates that if the sensors are reading right, your converter has given up. You should have it looked at right away before driving aggressive. If the warning is ignored and in fact the converter has a problem, and it is driven aggressively, it is possible to take out the entire engine.

And, another thing not touched on here, faulty tunes that run too rich are often the cause of these failures. They wet foul a plug and just start dumping fuel into the cat. It's odd though to only get the 420 or 430, as if this is the cause, they will also usually throw a cylinder misfire if the plug just gives up.

Actually the OEM tune is flawed. COT programming will pour fuel into the system as it thinks the cats are getting too hot and feed on itself. That is why I asked the OP who has not answered yet, what caused the light if he knows. Everyone I know who knows their stuff is writing tunes to eliminate the complications and troubles with the cats.
