Got a P050B code the other day and took it to the dealership. They said throttle body needs replaced. I haven’t heard of this problem since the 2018. Anyone else have this happen to them on a ‘19 or up?

Side note…obviously throttle bodies are not in stock so hopefully they get one in before hibernation time.

If I don't hear from them tomorrow, I will start looking for one myself. Don't underestimate the amount of free time I have at work to research and drive you crazy.

Thank you Rob. If they do not contact with an update, I will definitely reach out. While I do not think I am better than other dodge customers, when you buy the most expensive car in the fleet, it should come with a little extra attention in a situation like this, and I have never received that vibe from them. Especially when it is a car that a lot of people store all winter and that is quickly approaching. Not to mention only being 2500 miles in and cannot drive it.

So @DodgeCares does care! New throttle body is allegedly at the dealership today and they opened a spot in the service schedule for Wednesday per the Stellantis Case Manager. Thank you for the assistance.

@DodgeCares, I'm in the same boat. P050B check engine light from new. Been waiting over a month for a replacement throttle body from the dealership. Can you help me as well?

UPDATE Took my 21 HCWB to the dealership Monday, they replaced the battery because it seems low. Drove it Tuesday no issues, started it Wednesday morning 37 degrees out in Virginia and code came back. Took it to the dealership again and I just got a call stating dodge is releasing a PCM flash for the code in the coming weeks. Don’t know if anyone else is experiencing this issue so I wanted to share.

From whom did you “just [get] a call stating dodge is releasing a PCM flash”?

If it was from your dealership’s service advisor, I would confirm this with a PM to DodgeCares, because it could be that they realized the throttle bodies are on backorder and they are just stalling for time.
