Just got the same code.... hope someone can chime in...
Ended up taking mine into dealer they said their reader pulled up nothing. They just erased it n hasn't come back on.
Hope thats the case for me as the car feels fine ... happened the same way, just cruising.. anyways, thanks for the heads up!
Might have something to do with the bypass valve, but not 100% sure on that.

This is what the code means:
P2C90-CRANKCASE VENTILATION SYSTEM - HOSE "A" DISCONNECTED
This diagnostic runs when the following conditions are met:

  • With the engine running.
  • Engine speed above 1200 rpm.
  • Engine load above 70%.
Possible causes:

CRANKCASE VENTILATION HOSE DISCONNECTED OR LEAKING
CRANKCASE PRESSURE SENSOR NOT FULLY SEATED
CRANKCASE VENTILATION HOSE
CRANKCASE PRESSURE SENSOR

Jumping on an old thread but posting findings for others that may run into this issue on 2019s. Got this P2C90 code also. Found a plug from the factory inside the air box blocking what I assume to be some sort of breather tube.

Might be worth checking your airbox like JGordon...

Mine drove fine also under normal load then I got into the pedal and the SES light came on. Cleared it twice at work thinking it was a fluke like some of the other guys had posted on here then it happened again but this time my car kept turning over but wouldn’t start. SES light again then we found that plug. Been fine since.

What PLUG !? I have the dame code please Help
Figured i'd bump this thread. I'm a technician at a CDJR store. Got a 2020 hellcat with 30k miles in with the same code and had mopar intake setup. Nothing looked to be out of wack. Started wiggling all the pcv lines and found a broken one in the back near the drivers side firewall. The hose is covered and you wont be able to see it. Hopefully this helps someone in the future.

I just had it happen while parked, idling. Came home and read the code, cleared it. Yesterday I changed the oil for the first time. I will check the filler cap, perhaps it's not fully closed.
