It was very apparent within the first 40 seconds that I was not going make any progress with this "head technician".Don't walk, run to a different Dealership.
That Tech. does not know shit from Shinola.
A different Dealership will perform a re-flash and update the TCM software. Hopefully that will fix the issue.
110% Correct, this will fix the issueyeah, what Booky said! I had same issue, dealer replaced the 2 paddle shifters and did the TCM flash. not one false shift since, and I constantly use the manual mode and paddle shifters. it also doesn't hurt to have a star case number.
Will do.If I were you, after this is all done and your Hellcat is fixed, I would make sure to send a copy of the video you took, a link to this page, and a copy of the repair the other Dealership is performing to the Service manager and General manager of the first Dealership and see what kind of response you get.
I should've. It didn't cross my mind while I was arguing. lol.LOL that tech. is a tool. I'd have said, OK let's try the same thing with one of your new cars on the lot to see what happens.
